About
Jak is a London-based fashion and event photographer specialising in backstage, runway and brand-led event photography, including work at London Fashion Week and international fashion events
My photography is rooted in high-end fashion and behind-the-scenes storytelling. I regularly shoot at London Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week, capturing the moments that sit just outside the spotlight – backstage energy, quiet focus, raw emotion and the details that define a collection long before it hits the runway. My approach is editorial and considered, with an emphasis on atmosphere, authenticity and craft rather than forced poses or over-styled moments.
Alongside fashion, I photograph brand-led events, launches and cultural moments, working with designers, agencies and businesses who want imagery that feels elevated, natural and genuinely reflective of their world.
Alongside photography, I have an extensive background in design and creative direction, specialising in medical device branding, packaging and visual communication. Working in highly regulated environments has shaped how I think creatively – clarity, precision and responsibility matter just as much as aesthetics. I’ve led design work across global healthcare brands, ensuring everything not only looks right, but meets strict compliance and regulatory standards.
That blend of worlds – creative fashion environments and highly structured medical design – informs how I work today. It’s given me a sharp eye, a calm approach under pressure, and a strong understanding of how visuals need to perform in the real world, not just look good on screen.
Whether I’m backstage at a fashion show, documenting an event, or shaping the visual language of a product, the aim is always the same – to create work that feels honest, considered and purposeful.
Based in London. Working internationally.
